Let me tell you what we are all about and our history⏳️...

In 2010 I was a case manager at the YMCA helping young people get their lives on track. One young man desired to start a T-Shirt making business but had no idea where to start. It was innate in me to help anyone so what did I do?...Researched how to start a business. This was the beginning...He was my first and I was proud to help him launch! 🤩

After this many more people crossed my paths with desires to start businesses. I didn't even realize God was cultivating my gifts even back then! 🙌🏽

I remember this older couple that had lost their business during the recession and struggled to recover even though it had been a couple years. I made it my mission to help them get back on their feet! With God and my tenacity I helped them secure four contracts that guaranteed them $12K monthly. 😳

At that point I knew I had the sauce! 😏 I just knew I needed to bottle it up and serve as many people as I could! 🤗

So in January of 2016 I opened a Sole Prop under my legal name. However, after securing my first client in March of the same year...I officially launched Blue J Consulting Firm LLC!!! 💙💼

I was excited to start my business and share it with everyone. However, I was ALL over the place with what I could do. I was lowkey blessed to be good at everything, so it was hard to narrow down my purpose. This was confusing for my customers and made it difficult to pitch myself! My website practically said I do EVERYTHING! 🤣

Up until the pandemic I only did Blue J PT. In 2020 I was laid off and this caused me to work for Blue J FT. This catapulted me to rebrand myself with the support of @mrsjdesigns & @merissahumesphoto!...I was grateful and looked like a legitimate company. 🤗

In 2021 I filed to be an S-Corp but knew I needed something different. So I partnered with
@merakiquality who helped align my audience and shifted the way I market. She has turned my complicated dialogue into easier interpretation! 🎉
